About the IAPP

Ricardo Johnson is the Director of Security, Risk and Compliance for CrowdStrike Inc., a global provider of endpoint protection, intelligence and security services. Previously, he served as the Director of Global Compliance for Ryder System Inc., where some of his responsibilities included overseeing privacy and security compliance related to mobile marketing, social media and cloud migration programs, along with other regulatory mandates such as export controls and Anti-bribery. Prior to Ryder, Ricardo served as the Chief Privacy & IT Compliance Officer for Burger King Corporation, where his responsibilities included managing the company's data privacy, SOX, global payment systems and credit card compliance programs. His experience also includes assisting companies solve privacy, security and risk issues as a consultant at KPMG.



Ricardo is a CIPP, CISA, CISM and CISSP. He holds a BS in management information systems and MBA from Florida International University.
