Tom Bell
Perkins Coie LLP partner Tom Bell Co-chairs the firm's Technology Transactions practice and its Privacy and Data Security Group. He represents leading businesses in Internet, e-commerce, privacy, IT and wireless law matters, and counsels on commercial agreements and regulatory compliance. Tom represents buyers and providers of cloud computing services, and he has negotiated specific privacy and data security clauses on more than 100 commercial contracts. He assists FORTUNE 100 companies and startups with the legal requirements for cloud computing services, internal policies for using SaaS, PaaS and IaaS vendors and regularly manages key clauses and negotiating positions. Tom received his B.A. and M.A. from Brigham Young University and his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law.
