Sara Duval Harrington, CIPP/E
Sara leads the legal team that works to ensure that LinkedIn's products and services comply with applicable laws and honor our privacy and security commitments to LinkedIn’s members and users. Sara also is an adjunct professor at UC Hastings where she teaches a course on IP and data transactions. Prior to LinkedIn, Sara worked at Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati where she counseled technology companies on issues such as privacy and legal compliance as well as the development, distribution, licensing, sale, and purchase of technology and intellectual property rights.
Sara represented clients in a wide range of industries and geographies: search, software (including open source), e-commerce, web 2.0, entertainment/media industries, database, networking, semiconductor, telecom, medical device, clean tech and consumer goods.
