About the IAPP

Pegah Parsi is the Privacy Program Manager at Stanford University.  She manages a variety of privacy initiatives for the university, including ones involving research design and data management, HIPAA compliance, FERPA, employee data, and vendor management.  She provides privacy solutions for all seven schools; the Stanford covered entity, the Department of Energy lab at SLAC, and all Stanford administrative offices.

 

Pegah has worked in a variety of higher education settings and has extensive experience in research contracting, negotiations, and administration.  In her spare time, Pegah provides pro bono immigration representation for asylees. 

 

Pegah is a JD/MBA who enjoys reading court opinions and attempting to cook.
