About the IAPP

Ewa Kurowska-Tober is the Head of IPT Practice and Data Protection Group at DLA Piper in Warsaw. She specialises in advising on matters related to data protection, advising among others on large-scale global privacy compliance programmes, cross-border data transfers, data security polices, e-privacy, Big Data. She concentrates on highly regulated industries, combining her expertise in commercial contracts with an in-depth knowledge of regulatory matters. She often conducts data protection compliance audits, assists in proceedings before the Data Protection Authority and advises on the implementation of new products to comply with privacy regulations.  She is also an expert of the Polish Bank Associations working on preparing Code of Conduct for banks in Poland in respect of the GDPR.
