About the IAPP

Etienne Gaillard is the Privacy offer lead for in KPMG in France. Etienne has 10 years of experience in information technology risk consulting experience in a broad range of industries. Etienne  helps KPMG clients build and deploy  global regulatory compliance and controls framework which includes policies, standards and processes supporting data protection and privacy. He advises companies on their privacy and information security programs and has helped a number of clients assessing their privacy programs in respect of maturity, compliance, and risk and has assisted in the development of mitigation solutions for them, where needed. In this role, Etienne works collaboratively with Chief Privacy Officers, privacy attorneys and Chief Information Security Officers on strategies to create and improve their enterprise-wide privacy and information security programs.

Etienne has a Master of Telco and Information System with majors in Information Systems. Etienne holds the following certifications: Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information System Auditor (CISA).
