Melanie Gagnon, CIPP/E, CIPM
Mélanie Gagnon is CEO and Founder of MGSI sarl, firm specialising in data protection consulting. She moved from Quebec city, Canada to Luxembourg in February 2015 to start a consulting firm specialized in the field of data protection.
Mélanie has more than 15 years of experience in information security and data protection. With her multidisciplinary experience and expertise, she follows a comprehensive and cross-cutting approach to data protection that takes into account both strategic objectives and the company’s risk profile.
She is a member of the IAPP and holds the CIPP/E and CIPM certifications. She holds as well CISA (Certified Information Security Auditor), Lead Implementer ISO 27001 and ISO 27005 Risk Manager certifications.
She's a board member of the Association of Data Protection in Luxembourg and the founder of the event "Luxembourg Data Protection Days" which is the first event completely dedicated to data protection in Luxembourg.
