About the IAPP

Sabina Jausovec-Salinas is the Senior Director of International Privacy at Walmart where she oversees and directs the development of international privacy strategy and privacy compliance programs.



Prior to Walmart, Sabina was a Corporate Counsel at Rackspace where she launched the Rackspace privacy program and managed multiple facets of the program. This included, developing and implementing privacy policies, procedures and practices; training employees on privacy related matters; supporting customer and supplier contract negotiations; providing guidance to the business on privacy and data protection related matters; and managing Safe Harbor, Privacy Shield, and APEC CBPRs assessments and certifications.



Sabina has a wide-range of international legal experience in US and EU privacy law and data protection, having worked in multiple practice areas in Slovenia, the UK, and currently in the US.



Sabina is a Fellow Information Privacy and Faculty at International Association of Privacy Professionals. She holds CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, and CIPT certifications. Sabina has previously served as a co-chair of the IAPP KnowledgeNet Chapter in San Antonio, Texas.
