Corey Dennis, CIPP/E, CIPP/US
Corey M. Dennis, CIPP/US, CIPP/E, is Lead, US Privacy Officer, for Sanofi, a Fortune 200 global pharmaceutical company with over $35B in annual revenue and over 100,000 employees. At Sanofi, Corey is responsible for leading and maturing Sanofi’s US Privacy program in compliance with all privacy laws impacting US operations, including CCPA, GDPR, HIPAA, TCPA, CAN-SPAM and other US privacy laws.
Prior to joining Sanofi, Corey was Director of Privacy & Counsel at Pharmaceutical Product Development, LLC (PPD), a leading global clinical research organization, where he was responsible for managing global privacy matters with a particular focus on the US and the EU, and managing a team of privacy officers in both regions.
Corey actively participates in privacy-related professional associations, is a former IAPP Publication Advisory Board member, and has written and spoken extensively on privacy and data protection law. He is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School (cum laude) and the University of Massachusetts Amherst (summa cum laude).
