Since 2005, Nicholas Cramer, a self-described “technology nut”, has played early and significant roles in Sales, Business Development, Go-To-Market, and Sales Operations; helping several companies launch, adapt, and grow their businesses. The common thread has been an overall mission to innovate, driving to protect against emerging cyber threats. In 2007, he began his journey into the world of Incident Response, and in 2008 began incorporating the novel overlay of Cyber Insurance. As an early adopter and participant in Cyber Liability, Cramer and his teams have responded responded to thousands of data breach events, including several of the largest breach events on record. As a veteran industry thought-leader, Nicholas has written multiple published works including “Not All Breaches Are Created Equal” and has served as an expert witness in several high-profile data breach class action lawsuits.

In 2021, Cramer joined Sophos. Tasked with developing and executing Sophos’ strategy, to bring wider adoption and , Symantec’s protection footprint is not only the largest civilian network in the world, but also the most robust, offering wider range of real-time protection against Identity and Security threats. In 2020, Symantec Corporation become NortonLifeLock, Inc.

In his current role, Cramer continues to lead the NortonLifeLock team responsible for leveraging the full power of NortonLifeLock’s Cyber Safety Platform and revamped Consumer Notification Infrastructure into at-risk consumer populations where bespoke solutions are required to reduce cyber liability. The largest segment is data breach response. In addition, Cramer heads a cross functional unit focused on ensuring the successful delivery of current and future data breach solutions, including the Consumer Go-Live Process and LifeLock Defender™.

Prior to joining NortonLifeLock, Cramer led Cyber Risk Solutions at Symantec (acquired by Broadcom) and has proudly played early and key roles at Deverus (acquired by LexisNexis), AllClear ID (acquired by Experian) and Ethoca (acquired by MasterCard). Nick lives just West of Austin, in Dripping Springs, Texas, with his wife, Diana, two daughters, Layla & Penny Lane, and son, Jones.
