Dianna Carr, CIPP/G

Dianna Carr is the Deputy Director for the National Protection and Programs Directorate (NPPD) Office of Privacy within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).  Her role includes overseeing a team of privacy analysts, managing day-to-day privacy office operations and ensuring privacy protections are embedded across NPPD programs.  She has been very involved in cyber information sharing activities, specifically with respect to implementation of the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2015 (CISA).  In addition to her work on cyber, Ms. Carr has also supported privacy oversight activities across NPPD, special projects including using social media for operational purposes, and spent a few years as the privacy analyst supporting the Office of Infrastructure Protection within NPPD.



Prior to joining NPPD, Ms. Carr was an Associate on the Privacy and Information Management Team at Booz Allen Hamilton.  Ms. Carr has a Bachelors of Science in Finance from Lehigh University and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional / Government (CIPP/G).
