About the IAPP

Gregory Ricketts is the associate director of Privacy Policy and Knowledge Management for the Internal Revenue Service.   



Ricketts is responsible for ensuring necessary privacy controls, principles, and protections are properly reflected in IRS servicewide policies and procedures, such as Personally Identifiable Information and email usage, as well as the development of privacy training for employees and contractors. His 26 years of diverse IRS organizational knowledge, including taxpayer advocacy, identity protection and safeguards, has allowed him to make significant inroads with the various IRS business operating divisions and functions and achieve privacy in practice.
