About the IAPP

For the past 15 years, Charlotte Tschider has led teams at Fortune 50 and Fortune 500 companies, applying privacy and information security principles in the manufacturing, banking, health, and retail sectors. In Tschider’s last corporate role, she served as Director of Information Security Management for Carlson Wagonlit Travel, a market-leading global corporate travel company.  Currently, Charlotte Tschider is Owner and Principal for CyberSimple Security, LLC, a privacy and security consulting company based in Minnesota. Tschider is also the author of published articles on privacy and intellectual property laws, and previously was an instructor in Scientific and Technical Communication for the University of Minnesota. Tschider holds an MA in Scientific and Technical Communication from the University of Minnesota and a JD from the Hamline University School of Law.
