About the IAPP

Katy Lovell is a senior compliance analyst at State Farm Corporate Headquarters in Bloomington, Ill.  She joined State Farm after graduating from Illinois State University.   Privacy has been her primary focus the last four years.  During this time, her responsibilities have ranged from breach investigation and internal privacy consultation to setting strategy for the privacy program.  Most recently, Katy was selected to coordinate privacy efforts for State Farm’s Property & Casualty insurance line.  Katy is an active member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and is certified in Risk and Informations Systems Control (CRISC).
