About the IAPP

Jonathan is a staff software engineer leading privacy engineering for Clubhouse, the app that kicked off the social audio movement. He works horizontally across features teams to help the company honor user privacy in products while continuing to move extremely quickly. Previously, he spent 6 years at Meta, where he founded and led their Privacy Control Infra team, led deployment of a UN Human Rights Council recommendation for the 2017 Rohingya refugee crisis in Myanmar, and worked on numerous products to support vulnerable communities through difficult life moments. Jonathan graduated from the Tufts University School of Engineering.
