About the IAPP

Maarten Hoffer, the former Head of Marketing of the Dutch Football Federation (KNVB), the CEO of VoetbalTV, and currently the CEO of the Dutch Basketball Federation, has 20 years of experience in the world of sports and marketing. He is a firm believer in innovation and has introduced multiple new endeavors in his career. Together with his team at the KNVB he created VoetbalTV, a sportstech innovation using automated cameras to record grassroots football matches. With the aim of increasing the fun of football players and their followers VoetbalTV was an instant hit, until the Dutch Privacy Authorities chose to change the fate of this startup.
