About the IAPP

Jeth Lee is Microsoft Singapore's Director of Legal and Government Affairs. He heads public policy, legal and compliance for Singapore as a member of the senior leadership team, and leads privacy policy in Asia. 

In his role, Jeth is responsible for navigating the organisation through complex legislative and regulatory environments across a wide range of critical issues, including AI, cloud computing, cross-border data flows, privacy, sustainability and cybersecurity.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Jeth spent a decade in management roles at the Singapore Exchange, including as Head of Compliance and Lead Counsel. Earlier in his career, he practised securities law at Allen & Gledhill, a leading Singapore law firm.

Jeth read law at the National University of Singapore, where he was chief editor of the law review, and holds a master’s degree in corporate law from New York University. He is qualified as an advocate and solicitor in Singapore.
