About the IAPP

George Milton is Deputy Head of Legal at ICE Futures Europe (part of the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) group) and is also ICE’s Data Protection Officer.  Prior to joining ICE, George was an associate and then counsel at Shearman & Sterling LLP in London, where his practice focused on competition and regulatory matters.  He is a qualified solicitor in England & Wales and holds an undergraduate degree in Classics & English Literature from Oxford University.
