Kennedy's Law

Associate Attorney

Bridget Mead (CIPP/US) is currently a third-year law student at Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Bridget is interested in the intersection of law and technology and has studied data privacy law both in the US and Europe. Bridget’s interest in data was piqued while working in the technology industry at Aspen Advisors, performing data analytics and visualization for Fortune 100 companies to assist their talent acquisition practices. Her experience in this role afforded her a glimpse into how corporations approach data management.

Bridget’s practical experience during law school has been varied from clerking for the Honorable Judge David Strawbridge and the Honorable Judge Mitchell Goldberg, both of the United States District Court of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, to working as a Summer Associate at Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman and Goggin, and interning with XPAN Law Group, an international data privacy and cybersecurity consulting firm. After Bridget graduates in May 2020, she will join Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman and Goggin as a full-time Associate Attorney.

Much like the laws and regulations governing data privacy and cybersecurity, Bridget’s experience and research in this area continues to evolve, by examining the risks inherent with modern technology from both the consumer and corporate perspective. Bridget is thrilled to join the IAPP’s Knowledgenet Chapter in Philadelphia as a Young Privacy Professional.
