Data discovery projects have become a foundational component for organizations seeking to mature their privacy programs. Understanding exactly what data you have, where it is stored, and where it is transferred is key, but doing this manually often proves to be time-consuming and inaccurate. The ability to efficiently and effectively discover, classify and correlate data is on the wish list of many organizations and is essential to compliance with global privacy regulations, but can be challenging to put into place.
