Embracing two-factor authentication is one potential for companies looking to avoid falling prey to phishing attacks, said Verizon’s Bryan Sartin. "It would mitigate an entire swathe of these breaches." Meanwhile, BT Tower hosted Cyber Security Challenge U.K.’s second challenge, Infosecurity Magazine reports. Under the supervision of BT’s security team and other cybersecurity assessors, 24 finalists worked to investigate a mock breach of a financial institution, with “top performers” qualifying for November’s Cyber Security Challenge U.K. Masterclass.
