In a research paper published by Trinity College Dublin Computer Scientist Doug Leith, Brave received the highest privacy rating among major web browsers, while Microsoft Edge tied with Yandex for the lowest rating, Ars Technica reports. The study compared the user information collected by the browsers and data that could be used to track users over time. Chrome, Firefox and Safari ranked in the middle.
