Sony’s PlayStation Network revealed it would be embracing two-factor authentication, nearly five years after a breach exposed more than 77 million users’ addresses and credit card information, ZDNet reports. The network includes nearly 110 million gamers, “with 65 million of them active on a monthly basis” across myriad Sony devices. While Sony didn’t provide additional details beyond the announcement, it did disclose that the service “was still under development” for a future, unspecified date.
