In an op-ed for CNBC, Omada Health Chief Privacy and Regulatory Officer Lucia Savage writes about the privacy issues that are likely to come from Amazon's Halo fitness tracker and its ability "to collect some of the most intimate health details of a person’s life." Savage acknowledges the health data sharing that comes with Halo may benefit physicians and the health care space but warns that Amazon should be mindful of a lack of regulations on wearables and general patient privacy concerns.
