Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston reiterated his commitment to give the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner order-making power, a promise he made before his premiership, CBC News reports. The power would require the government to adhere to regulations from the commissioner. "It wasn't a conscious decision to delay that," Houston said. "I just haven't focused on it, to be honest, and maybe that's my fault." He aims to propose it in the spring.
