The Network Advertising Initiative released a set of best practices related to using personal data for non-marketing activities related to tailored advertising and ad delivery and reporting. The suggested practices include materiality testing, employing aggregated or deidentified data, and extending required privacy principles laid out in the NAI Code of Conduct, including data minimization and use limitations.
