A week after winning a long-running legal dispute with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), now defunct medical company LabMD is suing three FTC lawyers, The National Law Journal reports. The suit against the lawyers was filed last Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. According to the lawsuit, the “FTC investigation and prosecution fought so aggressively, abusively, unethically and illegally by FTC attorneys … that they put a small cancer-detection firm in Atlanta, Georgia, out of business.” Carl Settlemyer, Alain Sheer and Ruth Yodaiken are the three lawyers cited in the case.
