The U.S. Federal Trade Commission is calling for privacy and data security research presentations for its PrivacyCon 2022 event. Stakeholders will discuss research and trends during the Nov. 1 virtual event, covering topics including algorithmic bias, commercial surveillance and workplace monitoring, potential ways to improve privacy and security practices, and children and teen’s privacy risks presented by emerging technologies. The deadline for submitting presentations is July 29.
