The Federal Trade Commission and Federal Communications Commission are hosting a joint policy forum today, March 23, to discuss how best to empower consumers and service providers in their fight to block illegal robocalls. Members from the technology, consumer advocacy and regulatory committees will be speaking at the event and will examine past, current and future action to combat robocalls. Remarks will be delivered by Acting FTC Chairman Maureen Ohlhausen, FCC Chairman Ajit Pai, FTC Commissioner Terrell McSweeny, and FCC Commissioners Mignon Clyburn and Brendan Carr.
