  • GovInfoSecurity reports a class-action lawsuit was filed to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against fertility application Flo Health over alleged unlawful data sharing. Plaintiffs claim Flo Health shared "intimate, personal health details" with four third-party vendors, including Facebook and Google. Flo Health and the U.S. Federal Trade Commission reached a settlement on the same claims in January, but the deal did not include a fine for damages.
  • The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio will allow a class-action lawsuit over a 2017 data breach involving customers from chain restaurant Sonic to proceed, Infosecurity Magazine reports.
