The Wikimedia Foundation has announced a free event in San Francisco next week exploring “Artificial Intelligence and the Law.” To be held July 19 at Wikimedia’s offices, the panel discussion with Yale Law School’s Rebecca Crootof, ROSS Intelligence’s Jimoh Ovbiagele, Zenti’s Christopher Reed, and Fenwick & West’s David Ahn will be moderated by Chuck Roslof, legal counsel at Wikimedia, and focus on such topics as lethal autonomous weapons, driverless cars and ROSS, the world’s first robot attorney. The event is free, but registration is required.
