French data protection authority, the CNIL, released guidance in English this week on blockchain and the EU General Data Protection Regulation. "Blockchain is a technology with a high potential for development that raises many questions, including questions on its compatibility with the GDPR," the CNIL wrote in a blog post. "For this reason, the CNIL has addressed this matter and presents concrete solutions to stakeholders who wish to use it as part of their personal data processing operations."
