About the IAPP

Cindy Van Ort is the Chief Privacy Officer for Thomson Reuters, including Reuters News, Westlaw Publishing and a variety of products and services for legal, tax and accounting, government and corporate customers. Cindy previously served as CPO of the Americas for Citigroup, and North American CPO for BMO Financial Group. Cindy is an attorney licensed in Illinois, and holds the following IAPP credentials: FIP, CIPP-US, CIPP- CA, CIPP-EU and CIPM.
