Web Conference: How to Comply with Brazil's Data Protection Law by Leveraging Your GDPR Program

This web conference was a part of the IAPP Global Privacy Summit Online 2021.

Original broadcast date: May 19, 2021

After completing the work necessary to create and implement a privacy program that complied with the General Data Protection Regulation you probably thought the hard part was over. You might want to think again. Brazil’s data protection law was greatly inspired by the GDPR, but unfortunately, complying with the GDPR does not equate to full compliance with Brazil’s data protection law. This session offered insights from global companies regarding what you can reuse from your GDPR compliance program and what you have to tweak in order to comply with Brazil’s data protection law.
