Following the closure of schools due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Center for Democracy and Technology commissioned a research report on the parents, students and teachers involved in the increased use of educational technology. This report summarizes the results of this research, finding major gaps in student privacy exist, and delineates five steps of action that should be taken to better secure student privacy.
