About the IAPP

Justin Banda is a Senior Privacy Consultant for Ernst & Young. He has a well-rounded understanding of the privacy landscape with an interdisciplinary background in law (licensed to practice law in CA). He is a certified information privacy professional in U.S. privacy laws, CIPP/US, and has expertise in General Data Protection Regulation (EU-GDPR). Prior to joining EY, Justin earned his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University, School of Law. He also completed Santa Clara University, School of Law Privacy Certificate program receiving the Certificate with honors. Justin’s prior working experience expands across multiple industries including working for multinational fortune 500 software companies, late-stage start-up SaaS companies (Software as a Service), large non-profits, and private law firms.
