About the IAPP

Katerina Tassi is a Senior Associate at Bird & Bird's Privacy and Data Protection group, based in London. Katerina works with organizations across various sectors, with a particular interest in the tech & media and travel sectors. She is dual-qualified and advises organisations on a broad range of UK and EU data protection and ePrivacy issues, from transparency, compliance processes and DPIAs, to data transfers, biometrics and anonymisation. Katerina has a strong focus on children's privacy and regularly helps online platforms to tailor their operations in line with the UK Children's Code and the Irish Fundamentals. Before joining Bird & Bird, Katerina gained valuable in-house experience as a key privacy lawyer at a leading UK airline, and also has experience working in France and Greece, for international companies and for an EU body.
