About the IAPP

Maco Stewart is a senior director at Salesforce, where he leads the company's Americas privacy team. He has extensive experience developing company privacy strategy, addressing global data protection issues, designing and implementing privacy programs and improvements, counseling on product design, and dealing with security matters. Before joining Salesforce, Maco defended technology companies against class-action privacy litigation at Cooley LLP, and worked at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. Maco holds a J.D. from The George Washington University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon.
