About the IAPP

Reporting into the Chief Privacy Officer, Louise is responsible for driving deployment of the global privacy risk management program, with a specific focus on privacy risk oversight across lines of business, products and legal/regulated entities. She leads a global team that creates and updates privacy risk assessment methodologies, tools and reporting, including privacy-impact-assessments and automated privacy controls for the enterprise. She also oversees the deployment of global privacy initiatives and leads on identifying and mitigating strategic privacy risks.



Louise has worked in privacy her entire career, including in Privacy Officer and Global Privacy Counsel roles at Vodafone and in policy, compliance and complaint management at the Victorian Privacy Commissioner. She qualified as a solicitor in Australia, has a Master of Laws (e-law) from the University of Melbourne and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) /Bachelor of Media Studies from La Trobe University.
