About the IAPP

Sean is an astute legal and privacy professional with over 20 years of experience and has a great passion for providing proactive and solution-focused data privacy and data security advice. Sean recently joined ResMed in December of 2022 as Lead Privacy Counsel from Cognizant Technology Solutions where she was an Associate Director and Senior Privacy Counsel advising clients on data privacy strategy, embedding privacy by design into TriZetto products and services, and privacy compliance. Prior to that she worked as Global Privacy Legal Lead for Accenture’s Health and Public Service Offerings and Applied Intelligence Offerings where she supported on a wide range of legal matters specifically related to AI, data privacy, data sourcing, privacy by design, data governance and data sharing. She holds six IAPP certifications and serves on the IAPP Privacy Bar Section Advisory Board. In addition, she is the current Chair of the Association of Corporate Counsel’s Health Law Network.
