Paula Barrett leads the Eversheds international privacy and information law practice. She has a particular focus on international compliance issues and is rated by Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 as a leading individual in the field of data protection. Barrett advises on a diverse range of issues, from handling investigations by local regulators or internally to establishing compliance programmes and their intersection with those for anti-bribery, SoX and export controls. Barrett started her career advising on information technology law and she continues to advise clients on international e-commerce alongside her privacy practice, putting her broader experience to good use when dealing with cloud computing and online behavioural advertising.
