Country Leader, Nordics, IAPP; Partner, Data Protection and Privacy

Attorney Eija Warma has worked for Castren & Snellman Attorneys Ltd. since 2005. She is responsible for handling assignments related to the processing of personal data, data privacy and data protection, and she is one of the few Finnish attorneys specialising exclusively in this field. Warma's extensive experience, national and international expertise in the field and experience working at the Finnish data protection ombudsman's office make her a well-recognised data protection specialist.

In addition to her studies and law degree at the University of Lapland (Finland), Warma has also studied law at Tulane Law School in New Orleans and at the University of Minnesota Law School, where she completed an LLM degree. Besides studies, Warma has also gained practical experience in the U.S. through her work at Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP, in Atlanta in autumn 2009.

The Who's Who Legal of Internet and e-Commerce ranks Warma among Finland's leading legal experts.
