Jesslyn Dymond, CIPP/C
Jesslyn Dymond is the Responsible AI Specialist for TELUS. She is currently focused on supporting projects with privacy and innovation, data governance and the framework for ethical use of artificial intelligence at TELUS drawing on a background of privacy and information management expertise. She has subject matter expertise in Canadian privacy requirements and controls, as well as data governance, combined with a strong understanding of the business operations and technical infrastructures of large complex organizations.
Prior to joining TELUS in 2019, Jesslyn was the Privacy and Data Governance Officer at Symcor. Jesslyn is the Canadian Regional Coordinator for DAMA International and the Education Director of the Information Resource Management Association of Canada (IRMAC). She is also a CIPP/C. In 2009, she completed a Master’s of Information from the University of Toronto’s iSchool. She is recognized for her leadership in responsible innovation and an advocate for creative solutions to building customer trust with emerging technology.
