Andrew Beal, CIPP/US
In his role as chief financial officer of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), Andrew Beal leads the global sales and business development, technology, finance and administrative work of the organization. As part of the leadership team, he helps develop IAPP strategy and oversees revenue generation efforts in all channels--strategic alliance agreements, pricing, forecasting, financial reporting and treasury management, technology platforms and facilities.
Prior to joining the IAPP, he owned a consulting firm providing outsourced CFO services to 40 companies, and prior to that served in leadership roles in enterprise sales, sales operations and financial management at AT&T.
Andrew has a BS in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire Whittemore School of Business and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP).
Outside of work, he leads Capstone Farm, an equestrian facility that provides a community of development for teenagers and young adults aspiring to high levels of eventing in United States Equestrian Association competitions. He lives with his wife, Amy, and their three children on a farm in Maine. For fun, Andrew rides and competes his horse, Capstone’s MJ Tasmainia, a 6 year old 16-hand Canadian Warmblood.
