About the IAPP

Jai is an acclaimed leader, author, researcher, and speaker in the field of Data Security and Privacy. He has designed and architected the second-generation Data Privacy platform at Netflix. 

His current research involves children's privacy laws and their correlation to social media and gaming platforms and their implications. With his research, he aims to empower children towards safe usage of online applications and social media.

By the end of 2024, Jai aims to work with 5-10 small and large companies that collect personal data from minors to improve their privacy practices and enhance the personal information security of children and teenagers who regularly use their platform.

Jai also has experience organizing conferences, discussion panels, and hackathons, his long-term vision is to build a community of experts in the field of privacy towards solving real-world problems with data-driven solutions.
