About the IAPP

Felicity Slater is an associate at Hintze Law PLLC, where she works on a range of data protection issues, including advising on practical compliance with state comprehensive, health privacy and data breach notification laws, as well as drafting privacy impact assessments and privacy statements. Slater was most recently a policy fellow at the Future of Privacy Forum, where she performed research and analysis of consumer privacy laws, bills and regulatory activity on FPF's U.S. legislation team. During law school, she served on the editorial and executive boards of the Boston University School of Law Journal of Science and Technology Law, as a Consumer Debt Practicum student attorney, and as a Matthew Z. Gomes Fellow at the BU/MIT Technology Law Clinic. Slater received the Melville M. Bigelow Scholarship Graduation Award (awarded by the faculty for excellence in legal scholarship).
