Stephen McDougall is a seasoned business attorney focused on digital, data, AI and ecommerce matters. Stephen’s subject matter expertise includes the development and deployment of AI tools affecting both business operations and customer experiences, data strategy, digital accessibility, and digital transformation initiatives. In addition to stints leading teams supporting Prudential’s Group Insurance and Financial Wellness businesses, Stephen has supported Prudential’s Customer Office and its Chief Data Office. Most recently, Stephen led the Privacy and Data legal team at Prudential Financial, addressing a multinational portfolio of privacy and data-related matters, was aligned to the company’s Chief Data Officer and supported a centralized data science team. Before joining Prudential, Stephen spent a number of years at the law firm of Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal (now Dentons) and in-house counsel with AXA Equitable, where he focused on litigation, arbitration and regulatory matters.
