About the IAPP

Charlène Gabillat is the Group Data Protection Officer for Saint-Gobain Group, the worldwide leader in light and sustainable construction. She manages data protection issues for the corporate entities and leads a network of more than 50 Privacy Advisors in all the countries where the group operates.

She started her carrier as an attorney practicing in a law firm where she focused on data protection issues including cyber security, compliance programs, processing of sensitive data and international data transfers.

Charlène is a graduate from the Sorbonne University in Paris.

She writes articles and is the co-author of a book dedicated to the role of the DPO.
