Dmytro Korchynskyi, CIPP/E, CIPM, FIP

Dmitry Korchynskyi is a senior data privacy specialist at the biggest Ukrainian bank PJSC CB “PrivatBank.” In the bank, he implements privacy regulations and best practices to ensure the data safety of over 20 million clients, while also mentoring fellow colleagues on the matters of personal data protection.
Prior to joining “PrivatBank” Dmitry used to counsel companies operating in different areas ranging from IT and real-estate to telemedicine. He advised clients on a variety of data protection issues including data protection management, data protection notices, agreements, and policies.
Dmitry is also a co-founder of NGO “Privacy Hub” - the pioneer organization in this area that advocates for stronger protection of individuals' privacy in Ukraine. He actively promotes privacy culture in Ukrainian media by writing articles, giving opinions on TV and radio. He led the first-of-its-kind educational series dedicated to personal data created in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation. Dmitry believes that the best way to nurture privacy culture in Ukraine is by sharing knowledge, therefore he was a speaker at numerous events and co-led multiple international privacy courses. He obtained his LL.M. at the University of Central Lancashire.
