Executive Director, Contracts

Coral Faradjian is the Executive Director of Contracts at Iridium Communications Inc., where she brings more than 15 years of experience in strategy, research, competitive intelligence and analysis, regulatory compliance, and contract negotiation. In this role, she is responsible for managing all aspects of contracting at Iridium.

Ms. Faradjian and her team are responsible for collaborating on Iridium’s full range of contractual needs including new technology development, supply chain, R&D, product launch, sales revenue, and partner ecosystem development. Recently, Ms. Faradjian supported the research, strategy planning and negotiation of Iridium’s new commercial launch of its secure satellite-based time and location service that complements and protect GPS and other GNSS-reliant systems. She also supported Iridium being designated a Global Maritime Distress Safety Service (GMDSS) provider by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). Prior to Iridium, Ms. Faradjian worked for a California law firm for 10 years supporting startup companies with their formative, financing, regulatory, and M&A activities.

Ms. Faradjian earned her most valuable degree from the School of Hard Knocks and a Masters in Contracting from The George Washington University in Washington D.C. She also holds undergraduate degrees in Middle East Political Science and Arabic from the University of Utah.
